The article gives some good insights into what to look for when spotting human trafficking and what to do. Victims tend to look discounted from friends and family. They usually look scared or submissive. Bruises or other signs of abuses; being denied food, water, sleep, or medical care are key indicators. Look to see if someone seems to be in control and if a victim seems to have been coached on what to say.
Victims and tipsters can call the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1 (888) 373-7888 or text HELP or INFO to "BeFree" or 233733.
